Aspects

Aspects show how two planets "talk" to each other. Harmonious aspects (trine, sextile) show ease and natural skill; tense aspects (square, opposition) show challenges and growth; the conjunction merges the two energies into a single block.

A tense aspect is not "bad" - it is simply a source of pressure that drives you to grow. Many of the most successful people in history have had strong squares and oppositions; it is exactly that pressure that pushed them forward.

Transits (todays aspects) affect everyone, but most strongly where they touch planets in your own birth chart. For example, Saturn square your Sun brings a "reality check" period.
